This game was here to be had. That one play where we forced a fumble on the Ohio State reciever and they recovered anyway Arrrgh. Doomed. As usual Bucky's O line was opening huge holes for the running game, especially right up the gut. Darn, The Big Ten was ours for the taking. Also, how about the band being suspended for the game?

Hey,
A guy from my hometown of Bolingbook, IL played on the 1985 or 1986 teams... can anyone help me look that up? My friends and I cannot remember his name.

Google-ing for days, and still no help. The official Badger website blows (their "History" section is terrible).

Chica, the Razors had just given Florida one their toughest wins in the SEC championship game just prior to the bowl game. It was a great game and when they announced the bowl pairings later, I knew Bucky would be in for a fight.

As far as this year goes, the Badgers are going to end up undefeated and unranked, if they keep up this last minute garbage. A top 10 team should be able to play its reserves in the 4th qtr against unranked teams, and shouldn't need 1 person to beat a D1-AA team by himself,IMO. They haven't looked anything like top 10 yet.

I think if this team had started unranked they would still be there. Today will drop them out of the top 10, and deservedly so. MSU was the more impressive football team today.

Safety concerns?

Is this a big concern position?

I think we are likely going to see Pleasant and Carter at safety. I am a little concerned about it simply because neither has started int he past. But I don't feel like its a major issue. Both are young, leaving the potential for a great tandem in the future.
